It's almost that time! Kendra at Natural Awakenings Magazine, the Ware Center, and our Aware Lancaster team
have been working tirelessly to pull all the elements together to create an awesome day of yoga, mindfulness, wellness, nutrition, and fun! Our commitment to bring the community together is unfolding!
We thought it would be helpful to suggest some things you might not want to be without during your time at the Ware Center, as well as other helpful tips, so here you go:
Arrival
Your "Print at Home" tickets have valuable information regarding directions to the Ware Center, downtown Lancaster, as well as regarding parking. Please take a good look at them. Please also be mindful that Saturday is market day. You can expect some traffic and parking congestion.
- We suggest parking at the Prince Street Garage. You can also get a discount validation from the Ware for Prince Street Garage and Hager Parking lot.
- Vendor or Instructors loading in gear may do so through the front door. There are three "load-in only" spots directly in front of the Ware.
- Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the first class you would like to take. Doors open at 7:30 am to get you in and situated for the first classes starting at 8:00 am.
- Tickets are available for purchase at the door until 2:30 pm.
What to Bring
Our Natural Awakenings Marketplace Stage sponsor, Martin Insurance Agency will be on hand with some complimentary water bottles, but we recommend the following:
- Yoga mat and any props you use (blocks, straps, etc)
- Meditation cushion or seating/blanket for meditation classes
- a hand towel
- A notebook and pen or pencil for master classes, specifically Sheri Celentano's 1 pm Chakra Flow in the Atrium.
- refillable water bottle (there are fountains)
- fleece, jacket or blanket to cover up
- A change of tops
- Money for food, snacks and the Marketplace!
